Seneca Kennels a Place for Pets is located in the Rural Municipality of Rosser, Manitoba, 1 mile off road 7E at the end of Inkster Blvd just west of Sturgeon Road . (Minutes from almost anywhere in Winnipeg - see directions) Established in 1979 as Seneca Kennels, with the name "A Place for Pets" added a few years later. Seneca Kennels - A Place for Pets was started by Greg & Bette Holtman and is still run and managed by Greg & Bette. Seneca Kennels is built on 144 acres of farm land on the outskirts of Winnipeg. The Kennel is comprised of a main kennel building with 40 indoor outdoor runs and additional outdoor summer runs, a grooming area and cat building which also houses small and old dogs. We also have a large fenced in area for playschools. The staff are professionals, trained in all aspects of handling and animal care with the understanding that customer satisfaction is the rule.

Dog Boarding

Canine accommodations include an indoor/outdoor kennel run with access to water and shade. Forced air/air conditioning and in-floor heat keep your pet/s at maxium comfort year round. To keep things interesting for your pet, we have many fun activities available. Playschool, a fun activity where pets enjoy walks, fetch, brushing and as always lots of attention.

Cat Boarding

" MAX "

 Cats have their own building separate from the main kennel. Cat condos are available with one to four adjoining rooms. All rooms have an upper perch for your cats to stretch out on and enjoy watching the other cats. All rooms come with fresh water daily and and a choice of luxury brands of dry and canned cat foods. We supply litter boxes and litter.

Grooming

Pamper your pet with our "TLC" grooming. A regularly groomed pet is happier and healthier. Bette is a certified professional Pet Groomer. Our baths include, nails trimmed, ears and eyes cleaned. Grooming includes the bath with a sport cut for the breed (or your own style of cut) and brush out. Excessively matted or dirty dogs are charged extra. Regulars receive a discount.

Each additional, pet same pen, only 50% more.

10% discount on boarding after 14 nights

Baths $20.00 to $45.00, Free after 1 week

Pick Up and Delivery $35 &Up
- dependant upon distance and time

 Matted or Excessively Dirty Dogs, Vet Visits, After hours P/U & Delivery are all extra charges

Required Vaccinations

Your pet/s vaccinations must be current or up todate.

DOGS: require Rabies, Canine Distemper, Parainfluenza (canine cough), Parvo virus, Bordatella
CATS: require Rabies, Feline Distemper, FVR-C-P, and should be negative luekemia.
OTHER SMALL PETS: as per species.

Due to changing protocols if your veterinarian has suggested a different vaccination regiment please contact us for further information.
